I run with a rescue squad and checked against our $300 pulse Ox. It is within tollerances. It works fine while walking or mild exercise--like a stationary bike. But it will come off of your finger if you try to use it during vigorous exercise. The SpO2 and pulse rate readings are displayed in clear, large, red numerals. I compared the readings simultaneously with my doctor's "professional" meter, literally "mano y mano", and found this meter to be consistently 2% high. I spoke with a respiratory therapist and she agreed that it's not a big deal, or unusual, for personal SpO2 meters to be off by a bit. The mark of quality is that the readings are consistently off in the same direction and the discrepancy is small. That is certainly the case with this product. The meter has a very nice finish to it. It looks much less like a toy than some of the less expensive (and a few of the more expensive) models available.
